Run Parkie Run is moving to a new home!
First of all, I’d like to apologize to my you my readers if I haven’t posted anything worth your time in the last few days. Aside from work (yes peeps, I do have a day job. unbelievable, isn’t it?), the holidays have also kept me away from my beloved blog but trust me when I say that all is not lost. There’s a very good reason behind the lull guys. Really.
When I started Run Parkie Run roughly three months ago, I never thought that it would reach the stage that it is in right now. Honestly, I even thought that it’s gonna die a natural death just like all the blogs that I created in the past then something unimaginable happened… People actually started reading my stuff! It was just unbelievable.
Aside from helping me break the monotony of my mundane everyday life, it was also because of Run Parkie Run that I was able to meet some of the most celebrated bloggers in the Pinoy running community like; Jinoe of takbo.ph, Luis of The Gingerbread Report, Rico of By Sheer Will and Sir Amado of reinier6666, to name a few. If I didn’t blog about my running I wouldn’t have met these great people!
Just a few days ago Run Parkie Run clocked its first 10K hits. I know it’s not a big deal for some people but for someone like me; whose previous blogging efforts couldn’t even pass the 50 hits mark, it means the world already.
So as I continue to progress with my running, I am doing the same for my running diary. Run Parkie Run will soon move to its new home.

I first announced my decision to move Run Parkie Run to a hosted site to a close friend of mine. When I told him about the plan he got really excited. He immediately started referring good web designers he knew but when I called them up I found out that these people charges an arm and a leg for their services. Being the cheapskate that I am, I decided to create the site myself instead.
In the past two weeks, I’ve been really busy on updating my web design know-how. I’ve been tinkering nonstop with Apple’s awesome iWeb app and Adobe’s venerable CS4 Photoshop and Dreamweaver to help me prepare my blog’s new home! I’m almost done with the first draft of the site layout, a few more tweaks here and there and it should be ready.
Please stay tuned for the announcement of Run Parkie Run’s new web address. In the meantime, I will continue to post new articles, product reviews and updates here until the new site is ready.
Again my dear readers, thanks for the unwavering support and I hope to see you all in my blog’s new home.

Yeah!!! Looking forward for the changes.
